Sir Martin Sorrell To Give 2022-23 Growth Forecast At MAD//MeetMarket

Having just raised S4's revenue forecast for the third time this year, Sir Martin Sorrell will share an in-depth view on the industry's prospects in 2022-23 at MAD//MeetMarket on 2 February.

S4 Capital Executive Chairman Sir Martin Sorrell will kick off MAD//MeetMarket with a 2022-23 marketing forecast on 2 February at The Old Truman Brewery.

Sir Martin’s session at MAD//MeetMarket will provide a comprehensive growth forecast and outline the economic, consumer and digital trends that will define the industry in 2022.

Nicknamed ‘The Sage of Soho’, Sir Martin’ S4 Capital last month raised its revenue forecast for the third time this year. S4 has increased its revenue forecast to +40%, up from 25% at the start of the year - growth that Sir Martin says is more akin to the likes of tech businesses such as Google and Facebook than adland.

 Back at MAD//Fest London in July, Sir Martin called for the industry to avoid the “albatross around the neck” of traditional business and shift investment and focus to digital. Sir Martin said he was “very bullish” about 2022 but struck a more cautious tone for 2023, when he expects GDP growth to slow to 2-3%.
