Tenzing natural energy entrepreneur to tackle the big dogs

Former Red Bull marketer and Tenzing Founder Huib van Bockel is among the latest disruptors confirmed to speak at MAD//Fest London on 28-29 Nov.

Van Bockel launched Tenzing - a low calorie, plant-based drink with energising vitamin C, natural caffeine and electrolytes - to disrupt the energy drinks market by providing a healthy alternative. The category is saturated with high sugar products made from artificial ingredients.

Van Bockel, who played an instrumental role in establishing Red Bull as a pioneering content creator, will deliver a main stage slot on Disrupting the big dogs: how marketing can give you the edge.

“I can’t compete with their budgets and resources, but I can use marketing to shout about how we’re different,” he said.

Van Bockel joins a stellar list of CMOs, visionaries and disruptors who will tackle MAD//Fest London’s theme, Marketing + Innovation = Everything.

The theme is an exploration of how marketing, tech and thinking out of the box can enable business to thrive in a world where disruption is the norm and the traditional tactics have ceased to work so effectively. The agenda also includes contributions from Uber, Monzo, Deliveroo and Twitter.
