MAD//Fest registrations up 637% - Easyjet, Coty + Made.com join line-up

By Dan Brain, Co-founder + Content Director, MAD//Fest 23 Aug 2019

MAD//Fest London 2018.

Anyone who has ever worked in events will relate to the feeling of excitement and trepidation when you launch a new show and discover whether the thing you’ve put blood, sweat and tears into is going to fly.

Launching MAD//Fest was no different. Given that MAD//Fest is our first start-up venture, last year’s event being a full house of 2,700 industry leaders tasted even sweeter. Equally sweet is the fact that our year-on-year visitor numbers are up by a whopping 637%. Brand registrations are up 703%, putting us comfortably on target to another maxed out show of 4,000 decision makers.

A lot has been made of declining footfall a marketing and advertising shows in the UK and Europe. At MAD//Fest, we’ve experienced huge enthusiasm and desire to create a different kind of large scale event that puts punchy content, a fantastic audience and a unique environment at its core.

"MAD//Fest 2018 was the best professional marketing and communications event I've ever attended. It was vibrant, fun and mad - but most importantly, it was really interesting and I learnt loads. A year on, I am still referencing it and using the tips and hints I took away to inform communications strategies for my clients."

Sophie Paterson, MAD//Fest '18 attendee

New speakers added: Easyjet, Coty, made.com + VCCP

As we approach the end of a not-so-quiet August and look forward to a busy September, we’re thrilled to announce a trio of brilliant brands who will be sharing their experience of daring to be different at MAD//Fest.

First up is Kristina Kaganer, VP Digital Data at Coty, whose luxury fragrances, skincare and cosmetics portfolio includes brands such as Burberry, Gucci and Calvin Klein. Kristina’s session will focus on how Coty implemented a radical digital overhaul to scale direct-to-consumer sales and drive transformation.

Also speaking at MAD//Fest are Easyjet’s Morwenna Francis and VCCP’s Alex Dalman who will share their experience of how image recognition technology and social media can close the gap between travel inspiration and booking.

Finally, don’t miss Lauren Spearman, Head of Brand Advocacy at made.com in a session on how brands can drive the performance of influencer marketing campaigns and not fall foul of well documented pitfalls.

Given the rush for tickets at MAD//Fest last year, we’d strongly recommend requesting a VIP pass sooner rather than later!
