Introducing Brand Challenges, a new format that will challenge you to think creatively, put you in the spotlight + fix challenges live.

Diageo, Missguided, Schuh + Not On The High Street have provided a series of challenges below focusing on brand experience, loyalty, content marketing, data, digital technology + mobile.

The pitches are open to anyone. You could be a rising star at a brand, an agency network, an innovation team, a publishing powerhouse, a tiny tech start-up or a global madtech player.

If you’re selected, you’ll have the chance to pitch your big idea to the brand and a live audience. It could be the start of something beautiful!

Challenge 1: Diageo

How can Diageo drive more engaging and effective interactions with consumers? Increasingly blurred lines between physical and digital add a new dimension to traditional definitions of brand experience and ensure that global brands such as Johnnie Walker, Guinness, Baileys or Bulleit need to constantly strive for more engaging and effective interactions with consumers. In this MAD//Picnic brand challenge, Diageo is exploring hospitality tech, retail experiences and physical brand worlds.

Not on the high street

How can Not On The High Street tell the brilliant stories of its 5,000 small creative businesses in an engaging, cost-effective way at scale?

Not On The High Street is particularly interested in:

  • Using new channels, platforms and tech to tell more compelling stories
  • Making stories relevant through personalisation
  • Delivering authentic, unique stories whilst retaining our brand style

Challenge 4: Missguided

Missguided

Missguided has established a successful and quickly growing fast fashion business by providing on-trend products to its youthful customer base. But 18-24 year-olds are increasingly promiscuous in their shopping habits. Missguided is looking for innovative ways to drive loyalty, 2nd order rates within 12 months, and average order frequency. Your solution could focus on mobile, rewards, data, personalisation, contextual advertising, social media or any other platform, channel or technology that will increase drive loyalty and orders.

Picnic + party

This isn’t just any picnic...This is a MAD//Picnic! Quite simply, there is no other invite-only picnic for the UK’s 500 top brands, media and tech leaders.

MAD//Picnic is a unique opportunity to ditch humdrum conferences and make sure you get to know the industry influencers and decision makers.
