Our biggest and best MAD//Fest yet brought The Human Touch to life across 10 stages, over 3 unforgettable days. Catch every session now on our YouTube channel. So to help you navigate the breadth of sessions on the Disruption Stage, we thought we’d start by picking out three 'standing room only' sessions, (one from each day).

Day One, 7 July: The Illogical Leap: Driving extraordinary outsized growth at Uber with the illogical human mind

Will Hooker, Head of Brand & Campaigns at Uber Eats UK, discusses the evolution of the Uber brand from a ride-hailing service into a platform woven into everyday life. As both Uber and Uber Eats have expanded their roles in consumers' daily routines, the focus has shifted beyond technology to creating experiences that are relevant, human, and customer-centric.

This headline session, on the first day on the Disruption Stage at MAD//Fest, explores how local relevance, trust, convenience, and meaningful customer connections have become key drivers of sustainable growth. Whether helping people get from A to B or delivering meals, Uber's success comes down to one thing: making everyday life easier while staying in step with what customers need.

Day Two, 8 July: Data don’t crave Whoppers: Why the best ideas still start in the gut

Data can tell you what people do, but it can't tell you how a new mum feels clutching a Whopper at 2am. That space between what can be measured and what can be felt is where the best creative work happens. At MAD//Fest, Burger King UK CMO Katie Evans and BBH Deputy CSO Saskia Jones explored why instinct, human truths and The Human Touch still matter, and why protecting them isn't just good for creativity, it's a competitive advantage.

Day Three, 9 July: Flat White or F*ck off

What began as a concept brief for co-founder, Charlie Hurst, as a freelance designer sparked by Rory Sutherland's now-infamous phrase, "Flat white or f*ck off", quickly evolved into one of coffee's most talked-about and controversial new brands. Together with Ask the Impossible, Hurst has helped take the marketing scene by storm through bold experiential pop-ups, behind-the-scenes social storytelling, and a brutally distinctive brand identity that communicates one thing exceptionally well.

Thought you knew coffee? Think again.

All sessions are now on our YouTube channel. Great to watch whilst you’re on the beach, on the train, or at work!  And over the course of the summer and next few months, we'll be summarising and highlighting several of the standout keynotes, so you can have a weekly dose of marketing inspiration!
