With temperatures expected to reach between 27°C and 30°C next week, MAD//Fest has a number of measures in place to ensure the safety of attendees.

It's MAD//Fest week, (7-9 July) at the Truman Brewery Estate in London! With high temperatures expected and to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attending, MAD//Fest wants to make attendees aware of the following:

  • 15,000 half-litre bottles of water will be available
  • Water refill points in the Brewery (where the Disruption stage is located) and outside the Kantar Hexagon Stage
  • Medical support will be walking around the site at all times and in constant contact with the MAD//Fest team to ensure quick attendance
  • A number of additional fans have been provided, and sponsors have been encouraged to bring fans to their activations

Additionally, MAD//Fest encourages attendees to:

  • Wear appropriate clothing and sunscreen
  • Stay hydrated at all times
  • Consider the safety of friends and colleagues during the week
  • Enjoy alcohol responsibly
  • Bring a personal hand fan, if available
  • Speak to staff immediately if you or someone you are with feels unwell, who will bring a medic to you

Humidity levels are expected to be normal.

Certain sessions, including those of headliners Louis Theroux, Munya Chawawa and Dr Julia Shaw, are expected to be extremely busy, and MAD//Fest is therefore unable to guarantee entry, as each stage has a finite capacity. To address this, MAD//Fest will stream headline sessions to several other stages and screens to ensure guests' comfort. The team advises arriving at least an hour before a headline session for the best chance of seeing it in-person.
