Listen: Schuh’s Sean McKee on shiny new tech

Schuh’s Marketing + E-commerce Director Sean McKee is the latest MAD//Picnic speaker to be put through his paces on Tom Ollerton’s Shiny New Object podcast. 

This podcast is a brisk canter through topics including Facebook’s move in cryptocurrency, a near death experience during an MiT sabbatical and Sean’s passion for customer-centric disruptive platforms such as Airbnb, Uber and Whatsapp.

Sean will be leading Schuh’s Brand Challenge at MAD//Picnic this Wednesday 10 July on ‘using technology and data to enhance the online brand/retail experience’ (1220, Adidas Yoga Studio). Following a call out, Breath, Hypergroup, Smartzer and Threedium were selected to participate in the pitch. 

"Innovation always involves being prepared to think outside of the box, being open to the new, and sometimes just getting out of our own environment so we can be exposed to fresh approaches,” said Sean.

“That’s where MAD//Picnic comes in – brand challenge pitchers, take us out of our comfort zone please!"
