MAD//Fest and JobsInAdtech.com have agreed a partnership to fund the tickets of 20 adtech jobseekers at this year’s festival on 2-4 July at the Old Truman Brewery Estate.

The adtech market continues to be volatile. A challenging ad market and new growth areas - including the rapid rise of retail media and AI-based solutions - have created a state of flux. Whilst this has created opportunity for some, unfortunately many of the most prominent global adtech players have announced significant job cuts.

JobsInAdtech.com will support out-of-work adtech practitioners to benefit from attending MAD//Fest London and having the opportunity to speak to prospective employers.

“I think it’s fair to say that the advertising market is messy in 2024 with competing challenges and opportunities for jobseekers. MAD//Fest has received fantastic support from the adtech community over the years and we feel it’s important to do what we can for people who have sadly been affected by redundancies. We’re very happy to work with JobsInAdtech.com at a time when the forecast for adtech is once again starting to look more positive,” said Dan Brain, MAD//Fest London’s Co-founder.

This year’s MAD//Fest London is set to welcome 12,000+ brand/agency attendees across The Old Truman Brewery and features more than 250 top speakers, live £20k innovation pitch briefs from The LEGO Group, Boots and Colgate-Palmolive, and brand activations from Diageo, Havana Club, Sticks ‘N’ Sushi, Gipsy Hill Brewery, Hoppers, Tenzing and Liquid Death.

2024’s theme is ‘Fortune Favours the Bold’ and headline speakers include Mathematician/Broadcaster Professor Hannah Fry, Actor/Activist Eddie Izzard, and L’Oréal CDMO Laetitia Raoust.
