Jessica Myers, The Very Group's CMO, said that the “only constant is that brands need to learn the lessons of the past.”

In the short interview on THE FIFTH’S VIP roof terrace at this summer’s MAD//FEST Myers said in response to the question, how brands should ride the storm of disruption that: “Absolutely doubling down on customer obsession, understanding how you co-pilot and ride that storm with your customer, and making sure the remaining highly relevant and using your purpose as a guardrail, how you should be making business decisions.”

Talking about the role of marketers Myers stressed that: “More marketers need to sit around the board table to challenge conversations to do the right thing for the customer and drive accelerated business growth.”
