Maisie Adam to Bring Laughter + Levity to MAD//North 2026

This February, MAD//North is thrilled to announce that Maisie Adam, one of the UK’s most exciting comedic voices, will take to the stage as part of the festival’s Northern Soul‑themed programme.
Born in North Yorkshire (and also a Leeds United fan), Maisie is a rapid standout in British comedy Her sharp observational humour and storytelling have seen her appear on beloved panel shows and comedy programmes including Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You, QI, 8 Out of 10 Cats and The Last Leg. Her 2024 comedy special Appraisal aired on Sky and further showcased the witty, self‑aware style that has won audiences over nationwide.
In February at MAD//North, Maisie Adam will explore the Northern Soul theme, celebrating the North’s authenticity, creativity, and passion, turning everyday life, culture, and human behaviour into moments that are as insightful as they are hilarious. Her comedy will illuminate the heart and humour of Northern communities, offering brands a window into authentic local culture while reflecting a festival that celebrates bold ideas, originality, and meaningful audience connections.
