Let’s be honest, even though queues are famously said to be part of the British social contract, nobody really likes them.

So here's 7 changes we’ve made to make your MAD//North experience more enjoyable on 25-26 Feb:

  1. WE'VE GOT THE WHOLE OF AVIVA STUDIOS - that means there's 40% more space for you to explore, network + listen to incredible content from the best northern + international brands like Puma, Unilever, boohoo, Berghaus, Dominos, C&C, Hovis, Iceland, Currys + Man City. Click HERE for the speaker line-up.
  2. WE’VE LIMITED NUMBERS - even though we’ve taken 40% more real estate, we have put strict limits in place to give attendees more space to learn, connect and talk shop. Our guestlist is now SOLD OUT (81% current attendees are brands) and there are just 100 tickets available for purchase HERE.
  3. WE’VE REDESIGNED THE LAYOUT - no annoying one way system, loads more registration terminals + an open upper deck in the Factory stage means more capacity, improved flow + less time in queues (and therefore more time enjoying the good stuff).
  4. WE’VE GOT UPGRADED WIFI - Aviva Studios has spent a huge amount of time + money upgrading its tech infrastructure + WiFi to meet the needs of MAD//North.
  5. WE’VE GOT SATELLITE VENUES - switch up your MAD//North experience by joining one of our community socials at Trading Post or book a table for lunch at Caravan (our partner restaurant).
  6. WE'VE GOT RFID TECHNOLOGY - we're working with our event tech partner Cvent to introduce frictionless movement around the show.
  7. WE’RE ASKING YOU TO CONFIRM YOUR DATES - when you register you'll be asked to tell us when you're coming + your ticket will only work on the days you've confirmed.

Whilst launch events are tricky with limited data and shared experience, we’re honest enough to say that navigating the show on the morning of day 1 in 2025 wasn’t up to our usual standards and we thank people for their patience. Hopefully as you can see from the above, we've been working hard behind the scenes to make MAD//North the kinda gig that brings joy, happiness + connections (not queues).
