DJ Norman Jay MBE To Bring Good Times To MAD//Fest

07 Jan, 2022

Legendary DJ Norman Jay MBE will provide the soundtrack to MAD//Fest London this summer with an exclusive 2 hour set on 7 July at The Old Truman Brewery Car Park.

Synonymous with London’s Notting Hill Carnival and a pioneer of the city’s dance music scene, Norman Jay was awarded an MBE for services to music in 2002. Aside from playing clubs and festivals across the globe, his eclectic mix of house, funk, groove and soul can be found on his Soho Radio show ‘Good Times At Home’ every Sunday evening.

For the first time, MAD//Fest London will feature a third day. Billed as ‘Disruptors Day’, the closing day will feature a programme of sessions from disruptive brands, innovation chiefs and £20k start-up challenges with briefs from major global brands. After lunch, the venue will be transformed into the MAD//Day Rave featuring sets from top London DJs, cocktails and delicious barbecued food.

“People come to MAD//Fest London for a good time so what better way to celebrate all that’s brilliant about London’s creative, cultural and marketing innovation scene than throwing a party with Mr Good Times himself, Norman Jay MBE?,” said Dan Brain, MAD//Fest London’s Co-founder.

“Last year's MAD//Fest showed that people's appetite to come together, talk shop and meet the industry's movers and shakers over a drink or two is stronger than ever. In 2022, we've raised the bar again with an incredible line-up of inspiring speakers, entertainers and brand activations that make MAD//Fest the most distinctive industry event to go to in 2022.

Held across five curated stages, this year’s MAD//Fest London theme is ‘No Guts, No Glory’. The programme will deliver insight on how current and emerging players are making bold decisions in the face of disruption to deliver competitive advantage, growth and adaptability.
