Phillips will lead the production of 'DigiAds@MAD//Fest London - a new forum dedicated to emerging trends in digital advertising innovation, media trading, adtech, data strategies, programmatic and addressable.

DigiAds will take place within MAD//Fest London on 6 July at East London's Old Truman Brewery.

Phillips will also host DigiAds, which will see top global advertisers share insight on digital media and technology investment, how brands are responding to privacy, regulatory and ethical issues, and the possibilities of new frontiers in digital advertising, such as PaaS, CTV, addressable and high impact display. The forum will also explore how digital leaders are creating robust first party data, measurement and targeting models to offset the cookiepocalypse, Apple’s privacy crusade, CPRA, class-action lawsuits, and now IAB Europe hinting that their Transparency & Control Framework (TCF) may be endangered by the Belgian regulator.

During his six years at MediaCom, Phillips oversaw a 117% increase in client's mobile spend. Phillips joined location data specialists Blis in 2018 as VP Strategic Accounts. Since leaving Blis, Phillips has run a successful consultancy, BLP101, and is the Corporate Strategy Advisor for Glimpse Protocol, defining a privacy first future whilst decarbonising the next generation programmatic ecosystem.

"Marketing events don't get any better than MAD//Fest. I've been a big fan of the brand since day 1 and in three short years, MAD//Fest as established itself as the most distinctive, fun and networking-driven show in the UK events calendar," said Phillips.

"It's a watershed moment for the digital advertising industry. Moves by Google, Apple and regulators have thrown a grenade into the Lumacape and put the digital industry under unprecedented scrutiny," said Phillips.

"But the savvy will always find opportunity in disruption. I can't wait to host a lively and practical conversation on how the world's top advertisers are adapting, innovating and leveraging tech to achieve incredible results."

"Ben's charisma, contacts and enthusiasm for all things digital are legendary, he is disarmingly honest and straight talking" said Dan Brain, MAD//Fest London's Co-founder.

"The overuse of acronyms in digital can have the average marketer screaming WTF, but now the industry has a home at MAD//Fest to gain clarity on complex big issues, practical inspiration and that latest trends and innovation. Better still, with Ben at the helm, you can be sure of a lively and entertainment discussion that's the antithesis to the boring programmatic panel."

Entering its fourth year, MAD//Fest London is the UK's largest and fastest growing marketing and advertising festival. Over 6,500 attendees are expected to attend MAD//Fest London on 5-7 July at The Old Truman Brewery Car Park. 2022 speaker highlights include Diageo CMO Cristina Diezhandino, incoming Global VP Marketing for Deliveroo Tina Koehler, Ford Director of Marketing Peter Zillig, Burberry Global VP Marketing, Digital + Innovation Rachel Waller, Stitch Fix UK Managing Director Simon Leesley, and Meatless Farm CMO Ferry Kamp.
