MAD//Fest has today launched the new Female Leaders’ Club - a year-round community of current and future female leaders featuring events, inspiring content, resources for individuals and employers.

Born out of a successful pilot at MAD//Fest in 2023, the Female Leaders’ Club will return on 2-4 July 2024 for more networking, inspirational content and topical conversation on enabling women to achieve their full potential and address long-standing inequalities in the industry. Alongside MAD//Fest, the Female Leaders’ Club will feature a year-round programme of digital content, meet-ups and resources to connect, inspire and inform current and future female leaders.

Featuring content, social events and the centrepiece of MAD//Fest London, the Female Leaders' Club will complement existing organisations and networks to address key sex and gender issues in the industry. The mission of the Female Leaders' Club is to “connect, inform and engage the next generation of female leaders through the MAD//Fest community and inspire individuals, businesses and not-for-profit organisations to drive positive change.”

The initiative will be headed up by Aoife Diamond, who has joined MAD//Fest as Initiatives, Partnerships and Social Media Lead.

“The Female Leaders' Bar at MAD//Fest this year was a huge hit and provided a space to talk about the big issues, spotlight progressive employees and connect women from across the industry,” said Diamond.

“I'm thrilled to take on the role of growing this community and expanding its reach online and throughout the year. As the UK’s largest marketing and advertising festival, MAD//Fest has a huge platform to promote positive change on the inequalities and damaging practices that persist and act as barriers to women achieving their full potential. We’d love to hear from people of all genders and seniority who are passionate about empowering the next generation of female leaders.”
